ABOUT LLP
The Little Light Project began in 2009 when Kelsey Gillespy decided to combine her faith with her passion for writing and visual arts. At the time, she was a Division 1 collegiate athlete at Indiana State University studying psychology and creative writing. Through her efforts on the basketball court and in the classroom, Kelsey received national recognition as an ESPN The Magazine's First Team Academic All-American. Her academic and athletic goals had reached their pinnacle, yet she was still growing in her Christian faith and her desire to minister to others.

In the final year of her undergraduate studies, she teamed up with television and film personnel to begin her first piece of work: This Little Light.
This Little Light is a documentary aiming to dispel myths and misconceptions about Christianity. Through her own faith discernment journey, Kelsey realized she had believed many of these misconceptions at one point or another. However, when she discovered the truth behind her false beliefs, she finally put her trust in Christ and began to live for Him.

After speaking with family and friends, Kelsey soon discovered that many others shared the same misguided thoughts and opinions about Christianity. It became her mission to clarify these misconceptions for any others who may be interested in pursuing or learning about the Christian faith. So, she interviewed random passersby on streets around the country to gain their opinions about Christianity. Then, she sought wisdom from religious leaders and put all these perspectives into one film.
